Civilian Review and Complaints Commission (CRCC) for the RCMP
Independent of the RCMP to ensure the complaints are examined impartially.
Receives complaints concerning the conduct of members of the RCMP in relation to the performance of their duties. Complaints must be made within one year of the incident.
Complainants are asked to complete and submit the complaint form on the website, or download and mail or fax the completed form.
The complaint will be reviewed by the RCMP and a report submitted to the CRCC and the camplainant. If the complainant is not satified with the report they may request a review by the CRCC. See link to outline of process.
In addition to reviewing individual complaints, the Commission may hold hearings, carry out investigations and make findings and recommendations aimed at correcting and preventing recurring policing problems.
