Workers Advisers Office (WAO)

Operating independently of WorkSafeBC, the Workers' Advisers Office (WAO) is a branch of the Ministry of Labour providing workers, their dependants and other stakeholders with free advice, assistance, representation, training and mentoring with respect to workers' compensation issues.

Clients are provided with representation in cases involving complex legal, medical or policy issues where there is no alternate representative and where there is merit.
