24hKaslo Safe Home Program

Provides crisis intervention, and a local network of short term, free accommodation for women with their children and pets who are at risk of abuse.

Transportation to the Aimee Beaulieu Transition House in Nelson is also available.

Assistance with creating a safety plan for women who are at risk of abuse in their homes.

Focus is on safety, emotional support and help accessing other resources.

The Safe Home program can be accessed during regular office hours (9-4 Monday to Thursday) by calling Kaslo Community Services at 250-353-7691.  After Hours and statutory holidays the program can be reached by calling Aimee Beaulieu Transition House at 250-354-4357.
