Nelson Family Justice Centre

Family Justice Centres operate across BC to provide free services to British Columbians going though separation or divorce.

The Nelson family Justice Centre serves the Kootenay Boundary Area and provides both in-person and virtual services

Each centre is staffed by accredited Family Justice Counsellors, specially trained to help families with:

• Parenting arrangements
• Contact with a child
• Guardianship
• Child and spousal support
• Property division respecting a companion animal

Can help parents resolve disagreements without going to court.

Provide short-term counselling, mediation, emergency and community referrals and other free services.
